Nobody is texting me tonight, even Derek - I'm a retard!

Kerry isnt well but she's getting better and hopes she will be able to come to our Girls Christmas Lunch on Sunday.

I've wrapped all my Christmas presents and hopefully its all ready to rock n roll. I cant think of one person I've missed out but no doubt come Christmas day I'll remember someone. I've had loads of presents from work, 7 boxes of chocolates, 2 bottles of vodka, gift vouchers, a lovely big box of stuff from Boots and a set from Next. Oh and a pen. James came up tonight and ate one of my boxes of chocolates (and took a tenner) but thats a good thing cos the less I have the less I will eat!!

Today I had my 4th turkey dinner. It was really nice. I had chicken liver pate, turkey with the trimmings and then chocolate orange trifle which I'm going to recreate as soon as I buy trifle dishes.

Mister Man came over on Tuesday night, it was hugely brilliant and he's been soooo nice to me since then. He gave me a pair of earrings and I gave him all his presents. It was cute. And on Wednesday morning when I went in, the second I opened the door to the office I could smell his aftershave and sure enough there he was talking to one of the engineers, I couldnt keep the smile off my face. He had the tie on I got him too but I never found that out until he text me last night and then I felt really bad cos I didnt notice but he had jackets on every time I seen him yesterday. I wish I'd seen it on him though. I did give him into trouble for using all his presents before Christmas cos I know he was using other stuff I'd bought him too but I dont mind cos it was like our own mini-Christmas.

I'm trying to make loads of plans for Christmas time cos I dont want to waste it lying about the flat eating all they chocolates! I'm going out with the girls on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day I'll be occupied all day, Boxing Day through to Wednesday 27th I am freeee as a bird. Thursday I'm occupied.....and then completely free as a bird til I go back to work! I'm going through to Irvine at some point for my birthday dinner (weeks late but I havent had a chance to do anything for it) and I'll need to get up to Kerry's to see her tree and have some chat. New Year I dont even want to think about, its always so rubbish. I would be quite happy ordering a pizza from Dominos and watching Bridget Jones!

Tomorrow is the last day of work and I cannot wait!! We're getting away at 12 and somehow I've ended up volunteering to go and get cheeseburgers for everyone! Hopefully they will have forgotten by tomorrow. I am totally in holiday mode already so I might just go and get them...then go a wee wander while I'm out. But actually I cant cos I'm skint.

Some loser broke into my dad's van today and stole his whole collection of Rod Stewart CDs, his Meatloaf CD, some money and his jacket. How low will people go? Everything is replaceable but its the 21st December for god's sake. Luckily they never got into the back of his van cos he's done so much work in there making it into a wee transportable workshop they could have made such a mess and he had all his tools there. Horrible people.
